    About Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre
    Professional experience
    In 2007 Ram's dream of opening his own Centre soon turned into reality, after a friend offered their apartment in New Plymouth for a long weekend. Following a great surf at Backbeach, Ram knew that New Plymouth was the place, with the sequence of events flowing in harmony, starting by finding the Centre's current location and then opening the doors 6 months later. Ram's good friend, Potti Swami, came from India to bless the space, gaving an official opening.
