I am Personal Trainer of the Year 2016 at CityFitness Northwood. I am an experienced strength conditioning trainer and Weight Loss coach. I have coached over 500 females around New Zealand and Australia offering Nutritional and HIIT training guidance.

I've had the pleasure of having Jo Read as my personal trainer for over a year now. She has taught me so much regarding weight training & fitness. Jo has so much knowledge to share, she is so encouraging & is always willing to answer any question I have. I feel healthier & stronger since having her train me.

My experience with jo was awesome, she always made sure the exercises I did were with in my limit but also challenging. Jo is a caring person and always made the effort to talk about other things outside of being a personal trainer.

Its over a year since I 1st sat down with Jo. I had not been near a gym for nearly 3 years. Because my job is physical I felt I needed to build strength and flexibility if I was to keep going till I retire. Jo and I went through the process of setting the goals I wanted and tailoring my workout programme to fit those goals. Jo always has a smile and friendly word, whilst pushes me to achieve maximum results in the short time of my weekly workout.( 30 mins) And because the exercises are all written with pics I can come along and do another session on my own. Jo is highly focused and very flexible with times slots that fit in with my life. I think Jo is one of the best and wish her to continue in her health and fitness ,and to see it grow , maybe into the workplace then a lot more people would benefit. I can't imagine my week not having that workout with Jo.
