Immediately felt at ease with the massage. Solved and found all my concerns . Very experienced and exact . Great listener . Felt completely relaxed both physically and mentally afterwards. With yoga , it’s like a personal session each time . Great teacher .

Marina has more knowledge of the human body of just about anyone I know. She cares about each person and what is best for them. My husband recently had a back injury, and she was one of the few who I trusted to do work on him. Her massages are wonderful. Her yoga training is wonderful as well. I definitely recommend her!

FAQs

Prices vary. $25-$150.

The client fills in a form that helps me define their purpose and expectations for the visit. I discuss the issue and/or expectation for treatment, then if necessary, assess the situation and vocalize a treatment plan. I introduce them to the table and give directions for their preparation for the massage or bodywork, then I leave the room to wash my hands and to allow them privacy to undress and get onto the massage table and cover up with the linen provided. I knock before entering and the bodywork treatment begins. Your body is well draped with the linen with only the part I am working on exposed. There may be yoga techniques that I introduce before, during or after the treatment session.

Diploma of Massage Therapy (Canada 2200hours) Postgraduate certificates in Craniosacral Therapy (375hours), Yoga (2 year training with IYTA- Australia), Neurostructural Integration, Energy Balancing, Lomi Lomi. I have also trained as a Doula, Infant Massage instructor, and EMT-A.

At age 12 I started baking bread and it developed my hands. Naturally it became my profession after training in Canada. I continue to take studies to deepen and refresh my skills.

I have worked with elite clients of exclusive resorts such as heli-skiers at Canadian Mountain Resorts, on movie set, with equestrian, farmers, trades people and professionals in rural Canterbury, athletes, musculoskeletal pain, postural weaknesses, pregnant, birthing and post partum women.

I offer small group retreats in resort settings like Hanmer Springs usually over a long weekend. Massage, yoga, hot springs and enjoying the outdoors in a picturesque alpine or beachfront setting. Need I say more?

Ask: Where did you train and for how long? How long have you been practicing? How often do you get a massage? NZ has no regulatory body for massage practitioners nor yoga. Anyone can call themselves a massage therapist or yoga teacher regardless of training.
