The hourly rate is $40 or $70 for two hours. I would normally travel to your place, unless you would prefer to lessons in another place.

I will meet with you (and with your parents many times) to do a free assessment of your current level and then talk about your goals and how are we going to reach them.

I have a Forestry Engineer Degree and have been doing one on one tutoring for nearly 10 years. I have not only the knowledge but also the ability to make you realise that , after a few sessions, you can actually learn, improve your marks, and achieve and most likely exceed your goals.

While I was at Uni, I start helping younger students with their maths. am also now doing Spanish conversational lessons because Spanish is my first language.

I have helped students of all years and levels, from those ones learning the basics, up to those one in last years of school, including NCEA levels. I have also helped people preparing the test to enrol in the Police Academy, the army, navy or similar. I have also done conversational Spanish lessons to young and adults.

Every project/person/student is different and I am passionate helping everyone: it makes my day to see students getting thier confidence back after recieving an "achieved", "merit" or "excellence", whichever their goal is.

Just to be patient, persevere and take the time to achieve your goals: good results wouldn't normally be achieved in a week or 2: sometimes it's needed to make sure the base is strong before building new knowledge.

Parents should ask whether they are capable to be "on board" with the tutor's work. To remind their kids to review the contents of a previous lesson and to complete the practice exercises, for instance. Students should ask themselves if they would be motivated to make the effort needed to get to a place of improved marks and confidence at school.
