Systems are priced to the components installed and as such there is no standard pricing.

Understanding clients energy usage and designing a system to meet those requirements. I do not do out of a box package as that will give the least satisfied end result.

I have been in the electrical maintenance and installation field for 40 years and in energy efficiency for over 25 years. I have tutored electrical apprentices at CPIT, and have qualifications NABERSNZ energy auditing.

Always interested in minimizing energy waste and renewable energy was a natural progression.

My Clients include NZ Defence Force, Ministry of Education for multiple school installations and various private home owners who want the best systems which will provide the least trouble and the longest life.

Projects can take anything from 1 week to a month depending on site access, other building work occurring and any H&S risk factors that need to be minimized.

What certifications do they have, what previous projects have they done, and do you feel that they are explaining what they want to install to you fully.

How long do you want your system to last. Cheap up front installation price normally means that you will be replacing parts sooner. So top quality equipment will last longer and provide more power over its life , so it will actually be far cheaper in the longterm. There is a big difference between installed kW and kWhr output.
