About The Dance Shed - Kumeu
Professional experience
Sophie graduated from the UNITEC School of Performing Arts in 2001 and then studied further to gain a Graduate Diploma in Secondary teaching from AUT in *information hidden*Sophie has taught dance to people of all ages for over ten years. Before becoming a full time secondary teacher Sophie danced in music videos, short films and in commercial dance performances. Sophie is now a mother of two boys and works part time in schools while also teaching and running the dance shed classes. Sophie has danced continuously since the age of six and has trained in Jazz, Contemporary, Ballet and Hip Hop and more.
