About Mike Langford: Queenstown Centre for Creative Photography
Professional experience
Mike Langford is a professional photographer and director of the Creative Photography Workshops located in Queenstown, New Zealand. He once lived in Queenstown but now lives in Twizel, close to Mount Cook in South Island, New Zealand. He co-established Creative Photography in 2003 alongside Jackie Ranken, who is also a Grand Master photographer. Creative Photography has been offering workshops to photography enthusiasts for over 18 years now, and in the process, they have gained a wealth of knowledge and a significant amount of photographic experience. These workshops provide photography enthusiasts with an opportunity to learn from the best in the industry, especially in landscape and nature photography, which are Mike's areas of expertise. Mike's passion for photography started way back during his teenage years when he discovered an old camera at his parents' home. Since then, Mike has been keen on exploring the world through the lens of his camera. Mike Langford's photography workshops in New Zealand open up possibilities for enthusiasts who want to learn and perfect their skills. They offer a great platform for both beginners and experienced photographers to meet and learn from each other. They allow participants to accelerate their learning and also learn the skills required to take great images. These workshops help participants to understand better the technical aspects of photography and how they can be applied in different situations.
